The Model HTS-102 piezoelectric accelerometer is a miniature IEPE triaxial accelerometer, which specially designed for micro applications. This accelerometer utilizes a shear piezoelectric electronic element to provide a wide operating frequency range. Compared to other sensing element designs, the IEPE sensor combines an excellent crystal and low noise integrated microelectronics to achieve very low sensitivity changes over the operating temperature range. The shear element technology also ensures high immunity to substrate strain errors. The accelerometer features either welded titanium construction for low mass and a light weight 4-pin connector, or an integral cable assembly for even lower mass and wider frequency operation. The excellent frequency response (both amplitude and phase) provides the user with a triaxial accelerometer that is ideal for structural and component testing, drop testing, and general laboratory vibration work. The micro-cube size of this accelerometer enables the test engineer or technician to simultaneously measure acceleration in three orthogonal vibration axes on lightweight structures. All variants provide reliable measurements and long-term stability.
